Marie-Curie Research Training Network Nanomatch

Network Training Activities

Introduction

Marie-Curie Resaerch Training Network Nanomatch Supramolecular Nanostructured Organic/Inorganic Hybrid Systems MRTN-CT-2006-035884 funded by the European Commission thorugh the Human Potential Programme in the 6th Framework Programme 2006 - 2010.

Nanomatch is an interdisciplinary and intersectorial research and training network in the emerging field of nanoscience and -technology. The project aims at the development of tailored photo- and electro-responsive organic/ inorganic hybrid systems such as photovoltaic cells, LEDs, and electro-optic modulators, by combining the advantages of organic and inorganic materials. Widespread application of polymeric materials is mainly restricted by their limited chemical stability and lack of control of (inter-) molecular order. In our approach, these limitations are overcome by hierarchical organization of matter at different scales.

Network Training Team

The Network Training Team of Marie Curie RTN NANOMATCH consist of two key scientists and two representatives of the Young Researchers.

The objectives of the team are:

  • to stimulate inter-group exchanges in order to allow the Young Researchers to take advantage of the training network,
  • to provide an access to an online resources on the main topics dealt with in the Nanomatch RTN through the Lecture Series,
  • to supervise the personal development of each Young Researcher via the Individual Training Plans,
  • to assure knowledge transfer.
